So what kind of stuff do you write...?

Bullshiterature

Bull•shit - (n) nonsense, lies, or exaggeration: “Starting a written piece with a dictionary definition is bullshit—100% bullshit”.

Lit•er•a•ture - (n) Written works, esp. those considered of superior or lasting artistic merit: “That Shakespeare... boy, he sure wrote some great works of literature, or so I’m told”.
------
I am reluctant to say that I am a writer. Partly because I generally don’t enjoy speaking with (most) people. And then those most people will almost always follow up by asking, “So, what do you write?”

Ugh. Can you think of anything worse? How do I even begin to answer that? Usually with, “Uhh, stuff?” Well-said, wordsmith...

And so it was, inspired by my lack of talent and a Vonnegut quote (“Literature should not disappear up its own asshole, so to speak”)—but mostly it was the lack of talent—I created the literary genre (and portmanteau) of BULLSHITERATURE and the philosophy behind it, which says... well, it doesn’t really say anything.

...because it’s bullshit. Also, I’ve been really busy lately? With what? You know... stuff. What? Oh, I’m sorry I don’t memorize every single word that comes out of your mouth—Sometimes I just like to think. Think my thoughts.
