I made it through the metal detector at the Tucson International Airport with nary a bell nor a whistle. Despite this, I was asked to remove my beanie after walking through (quite successfully, remember?)

Then the TSA agent crumpled up my beanie.  THEY PATTED DOWN MY BEANIE!!!
