It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the passing of my iPod classic, Col. Qaddafi.

The Colonel was a loyal companion who accompanied me damn-near everywhere I went. He provided me with loud screams when I needed them, jokes delivered by favorite comedians when I needed those, and calming sounds when I needed that.

He didn't deserve such an untimely death, and he especially didn't deserve one delivered by my own negligent hands, hands that were supposed to protect and carry him the way that he carried me for all these years.

Goodbye, Colonel. 

Your candle burned out 13-ish days ago, your legend never will...
